2021 MG Hector SUV gets climate control settings via Apple Watch

MG Hector, which recently got updates and changes to both the interiors and exteriors, now announces a new feature. Customers of the MG Hector can now adjust their car’s climate control from Apple Watch, Android and IOS phone app. This will allow customers to remotely set the in car’s temperature thus, adding to the convenience. The British car manufacturer recently mentioned that MG Hector is its best selling product in the country. The SUV crossed the 50,000 mark in just 21 months. This figure is quite an achievement for an automaker that is relatively new to the market.

Highlighting Features In Hector 2021

The new Hector 2021, gets a host of new connected features. The most attractive feature is the infotainment system which is now able to respond to close to 35+ Hinglish voice commands like, Sunroof (“Khul Ja Sim Sim”), FM (“FM Chalao”), AC (“Temperature Kam Kar Do”), and many more. Hector 2021 also comes with 60+ connected car features which enhance the ownership experience to a whole new level. The newly added features like i-Smart app on Apple watch, voice search for songs in the Gaana app, Wifi Connectivity and Weather forecast add up as the cherry on top. In terms of safety, MG Hector gets 25+ safety and security features like Hill Hold Control, Traction Control, Rear Defogger with Wiper, Electronic Stability Program and more.

March 2021 Sales Figure

For the last month, i.e March 2021, MG Motor announced a cumulative sales of 5,528 units as against 1,518 units for the same period last year. This results in a year-on-year growth of 264 per cent, led by the sales of Hector and ZS EV. The demand for Hector is at an all-time high. The company mentioning that the SUV received over 6,000 bookings in March 2021. Hyundai’s Alcazar will very soon hit the Indian market and will compete directly against the Hector Plus.
