2021 Mahindra XUV500 SUV interiors will be luxurious and loaded with technology

One of the most-anticipated launches of 2021 is the Mahindra’s XUV500. It is also one of the most spied SUVs since its first spy shot started to roll in. So much so that the SUV has been revealed part by part through spied pictures. Now a new set of spy shots of the Mahindra XUV500 have emerged on the internet, in the near production-ready avatar that gives us a glimpse of the production-ready interiors of the vehicle.

Though parts of the interiors are camouflaged to save the final product from prying eyes, the extremely observant would notice that the XUV500 comes with new contoured seats with heavy bolstering to the sides that are expected to keep the occupants in place. The third-row seats are also expected to come with adjustable headrests.

The new twin-display dashboard in the production car appears to incorporates well with the fascia, a new steering wheel with a flat bottom profile and various controls, a digital instruments display which is part of the twin-display cluster, rotary air conditioning knobs with a knurled silver finish, various hotkeys below the air-conditioning controls, a central rotary dial with a knurled silver finish that is expected to control the twin-display cluster, a central cubby hole etc. The car is also expected to come with a panoramic sunroof.

Apart from the sophisticated interiors, the 2021 Mahindra XUV500 is also expected to come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) such as radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control and other safety features such as forward collision warning and mitigation through autonomous emergency braking, collision alert, lane keep warning and assist and more, taking the standards of the car to a new high.

Recently, the 2020 Mahindra Thar received a 4-star safety rating in both the Adult Occupant Protection department and the Child Occupant Protection department and the Mahindra XUV500 is expected to be on par or be even better in terms of safety.
