2021 Kia Carnival gets 5-Stars in ANCAP crash test

The new Kia Carnival was put to its paces by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program for safety. Now, the independent vehicle safety authority has published its results. The 2022 Kia Carnival has received a full 5-star rating for the MPV. The 5-star level of safety indicates the high level of protection for the vehicle’s occupants and pedestrians in the event of a crash.

2022 Kia Carnival Standard Safety Features

The all-new Kia Carnival achieved a full 5-star rating against the latest 2020-2022 rating criteria. All the variants of the eight-seat Kia Carnival achieved good scores across various sections. The good ratings are thanks to the safety specification offered on the MPV which includes intelligent seatbelt reminders on all seating positions, head-protecting airbags, active lane-keeping, autonomous emergency braking and fatigue monitoring as standard. The safety features led to the achievement of good scores for occupant protection and collision avoidance assessment areas.
