India Kawasaki Motor launched the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 in the Indian market with the price tag of INR 3.18 lakh ex-showroom. The brand is accepting bookings for the BS6 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 at all Kawasaki dealerships across the country as well as through the brand’s official digital sales channel. Now, Kawasaki is also accepting the booking through online retail company ‘Amazon’ and the amount has been set to INR 3,000.
No, this is only a pre-booking facility to allow the customer to pre-book their motorcycle without having to make a physical visit to the showroom especially in times of COVID-19 pandemic. The Voucher will be sent by Amazon to the customer’s home which can then be redeemed at the time of the final payment of the motorcycle. This gives the brand a wider range of sales points from where the customer can book the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and also decreases the number of visits required by the customer. The delivery of the motorcycle will be made at the nearest Kawasaki showroom and the customer will still be required to visit the showroom for further processing and deliveries.
The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with three new colour options for 2021 – Lime Green, Ebony and Candy Lime Green. The motorcycle also gets new body graphics but the body design remains similar to the predecessor. The powertrain features BS6 updates but the architecture remains the same. Powering the Ninja 300 is a BS6 emission-compliant 296cc four-stroke Parallel Twin Cylinder 8-valve DOHC engine with liquid-cooling and electronic fuel injection technology helping it to produce 39 PS of power and 26.1 Nm of torque. The engine comes matched to a 6-speed return-type transmission and with an Assist and Slipper clutch system developed using feedback from racing activities and limits the back-torque during aggressive downshifts.
The 2021 BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 carries-over the features from the predecessor such as the circuit-developed Diamond Frame Chassis that rides on a 37 mm telescopic fork with a revised setting that offers a firmer ride on the highway and is more balanced on the street, a radiator fan cover that directs hot air down and away from the rider, a 2-into-1 exhaust system, a sporty semi-digital instrument cluster design etc.
