Jaguar Land Rover India officially launched the new F-Pace today. This is the first time the F-Pace is available in the R-Dynamic S trim with the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel powertrains. The petrol engine produces 250 PS of power and 365 Nm of torque compared to diesel’s 204 PS of power and 430 Nm of torque. The SUV gets a host of new additions both in the interior as well as exterior.
Jaguar claims the new F-Pace is the epitome of aesthetic and luxury appeal and sets itself as a benchmark in the segment. Jaguar is also highlighting a lot about the connected-car experience as the new F-Pace comes loaded with many hi-tech features. The new Jaguar F-Pace range starts at INR 69.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Exterior Design
At the very first glance, you will surely appreciate the overall exterior design of the F-Pace. The new sculpted bonnet and an enlarged grille give the new F-Pace a very elegant look. The grille also features Jaguar’s traditional ‘diamond detailing’; meanwhile, the side fender vents depict the iconic Leaper emblem. The F-Pace also houses a new front bumper which gets redesigned air intakes and dark mesh, giving the SUV a visually wide stance.
The new all-LED quad headlight setup with the eye-catchy ‘Double J’ DRLs give the SUV an imposing front look. In the rear end, the F-Pace gets Jaguar’s double chicane graphic just like the one present in the all-electric I-Pace. This helps in giving a wide rear end a more sporty look. The new bumper design, along with the new tailgate, accentuates the F-Pace’s outlook to a whole new level. The R-Dynamic specification of the new F-Pace has some special and distinct design elements making it stand out from the regular trim.
Interiors
On the inside, the new F-Pace gets all the latest equipment. Starting with the new cockpit, which is a driver-focussed setup, adds to the driving pleasure. The new centre console adds a lot of excitement to the instrument panel. Features like wireless charging, four-zone climate control, 360-degree grab handle and row 2 with power recline add to the convenience of the occupants. The F-Pace also gets authentic aluminium inserts in the upper door areas. The new Drive Selector, one of the recent F-Pace highlights, gets an upper section finished like a ‘cricket ball’ stitching.
In terms of tech, the Jaguar F-Pace gets the new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system. Jaguar mentioned that this system is much more clear and bright. The customers can control 90 per cent of the everyday tasks from the home-screen itself with two taps or less. The Cabin Air Ionisation improves the interior air quality, thus removing all the allergens and unpleasant odours. Other features include a 3D Surround Camera, Smartphone Pack and Remote with e-call and b-call functionality, Meridian Audio System and more.
