Hyundai has launched the new i20 N Line in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 9.84 lakh ex-showroom. The 2021 Hyundai i20 N Line has motorsport-inspired exteriors, sporty interiors and a powerful turbocharged petrol engine. Hyundai already commenced the pre-orders on the i20 N Line in the Indian market with a booking amount of INR 25,000.
The Hyundai i20 N Line comes with two new variants – N6 and N8. The i20 N Line N6 comes with the iMT (intelligent Manual Transmission) option and starts at the price of INR 984,100 ex-showroom. The N8 comes with iMT and DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) automatic gearbox options. The N8 iMT comes with a price tag of INR 10,87,100, and the N8 DCT will come with a sticker price of INR 11,75,500. To put things into perspective, the standard Hyundai i20 starts at INR 691,200 ex-showroom and goes all the way up to INR 11,40,200 ex-showroom.
Hyundai offers 5 years/40 000 km or 4 years/50 000kms or 3 Years/100 000 km. The brand also offers 3 Years of Free Road-Side Assistance & 3 Year – Blue Link Subscription.
The Hyundai i20 N Line comes with 27 unique features, which include specialities on the exteriors as well as the interiors. The Hyundai i20 N Line comes with a sporty two-tone front bumper, chequered flag-inspired front grille design and athletic red front skid plate. The car also comes with athletic red side sill garnish, red disc brake callipers, and 16-inch alloy wheels in a diamond-cut finish. The i20 N Line also comes with a sporty spoiler, rear bumper diffuser, side wing spoiler, dark chrome connecting taillamps garnish, front fog lamp garnish and twin tip muffler.
The i20 N Line comes with a 3-spoke steering wheel with N Logo and perforated leather-wrapped gear knob with N Logo. The car also features red ambient lighting and chequered flag design theme on the seat upholstery. The cabin features a dark black theme with athletic red accents. The car also comes with features such as an electrochromic rearview mirror and connected features on the infotainment system.
Powering the Hyundai i20 N Line is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. The car features a 6-speed clutch-pedal-less iMT or a 7-speed automatic DCT gearbox. The car also comes with all four disc brakes, suspension tuning for agile ride & handling, tuned exhaust, sporty steering wheel settings and paddle shifters.
