Hyundai has been testing the all-new Alcazar SUV which will be making its global debut soon. The brand has now released a few images of the Alcazar revealing the 7-seater SUV in a special camouflage wrap. The brand has also announced that the 7-seater SUVs testing phase is now complete.
Hyundai has extensively tested the Alcazar on the Indian terrain and in different climates as well as road conditions. With the reveal of the specially camouflaged Alcazar, the brand also reveals that the durability testing phase of the vehicle is now complete and the Hyundai Alcazar 7-seater SUV has gone through a series of evaluations over varying terrains such as fast-paced highways, rough roads and hilly areas. Hyundai put the Alcazar SUV under rigorous testing that proves its Performance, Drivability and Comfort. The brand boasts that the Alcazar has been ‘Pushed To Its Limits’ and has surpassed all the challenging conditions be it road or weather, living up to the meaning of its name.
The prototype model features a castle theme wrapping which reverberates with the SUVs name, the Alcazar, which translates to a ‘Fortress’ in the Spanish language. While the Alcazar uses the underpinnings from the Hyundai Creta, one of the brand’s most popular 5-seater SUVs, the haunch receives significant changes not just to accommodate the extra row of seats but also to its design differentiating the Alcazar from the Creta. The teaser reveals more changes such as the C-Pillar and the new design diamond-cut alloy wheels. The brand is also likely to bring a new radiator grille to differentiate the Alcazar from the Creta.
Recently, Hyundai officially revealed the interiors of the Alcazar which also reveals a 6-seater layout including a captains seat in the middle row. The middle row seating with the captain seats also comes with an armrest with bottle holders and may have features such as large storage under the armrest and wireless smartphone charging. The seats are likely to come with a full tumble design for easy ingress and egress into the third-row seating which is likely to come with its own air-conditioning vent.
