2021 Honda CB 350 RS makes global debut, priced at INR 1.96 lakh

Honda has launched the all-new CB 350 RS in the Indian market priced at INR 1.96 lakh ex-showroom taking forward the CB legacy to a new level in India. The CB 350 RS uses the H’ness CB 350 platform but comes with new design and styling that reverberates with the lifestyle of the young urban Indian crowd. The brand also revealed that the new ‘RS’ moniker stands for ‘Road Sailing’.

Technical Specifications

Powering the new Honda CB 350 RS is the same BS6 emission-compliant air-cooled 348.36cc single-cylinder engine with Main shaft coaxial balancer that belts out 20.8 Bhp of power at 5,500 RPM and 30 Nm of torque at 3,000 RPMs and comes with a 5-speed unit that comes with slipper and assists clutch and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The CB 350 RS features a half-duplex cradle frame in steel pipe that rides on a large section telescopic front suspension and twin spring-assisted pressurized nitrogen-charged rear shock absorbers mounted on a highly rigid box-section steel tube swingarm. Braking power comes from 310mm disc brake on the front and 240mm rear disc brakes, equipped with a dual-channel ABS system. The Honda CB 350 RS tips the scales at 179 Kg at the kerb.

Design & Styling

The Honda CB 350 RS comes with the same rounded headlamp with LED clusters, LED indicator lamps, a new sleek under-seat LED taillamp, muscular tank with dual-tone paint options, tuck and roll seat upholstery, sporty grab rail, a slightly forward-leaning stance for the rider yet a comfortable rider’s triangle, the same single pod instruments cluster from the H’ness CB 350, rounded mirrors, an upswept exhaust finished in black along with chrome-plated covers, rubber fork boots, black smoked front & rear fenders, a solid skid plate to protect the engine and 7-Y shaped alloy wheels shod in a new wide pattern 100/90 front and 150/70 rear dual sport tyres that allow the motorcycles to traverse over rough terrain.

Features

The Honda CB 350 RS features a semi-digital instruments cluster with an analogue speedometer and a blue backlit LCD display that shows a plethora of information such as Odometer, Trip, Gear Position, Average Economy, Real-time mileage, Distance to EmptyFuel Level, Time etc. The dashboard also has an Eco Indicator that uses sensors to measure the riding speed and injected fuel volume and lights up when the motorcycle is in the optimum ratio. The CB 350 RS also comes with premium switchgear with an Engine Start/Stop Switch and a Hazard Switch.

Price, Colours & Availability

The Honda CB 350 RS starts at INR 1,96,000 ex-showroom Pan India and is available in two colour options – Radiant Red Metallic and Black with Pearl Sports Yellow. The brand has also started accepting bookings on the Honda CB 350 RS and the motorcycle will be available at all Honda premium dealerships – BigWing Topline & BigWing.
