Ford has launched two new automatic transmission variants of the flagship hatchback Ford Figo. The brand is offering the Ford Figo AT in the Titanium and Titanium+ trims. The Ford Figo AT Titanium comes with a sticker price of INR 7.75 lakh ex-showroom, and the Titanium+ is priced at INR 8.20 lakh ex-showroom. It is important to note that both the prices are introductory, and prices may go up in the near future.
Powering the Ford Figo AT is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 96 PS of power and 119 Nm of torque. The BS6 compliant three-cylinder engine comes with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Ford boasts that the automatic transmission is the segment-best offering, and Ford Figo AT, also several new buyers who do not want AMT (Automated Manual Transmissions) will opt for the Ford AT model.
The brand also revealed that the Ford Figo AT comes with the new Sport Mode and SelectShift features that claim to offer a combination of performance, refinement, and drivability. The Sport Mode automatically selects the optimum gear, and the gears shift faster, delivering a responsive performance. The SelectShift mode enables the driver to change gears manually. The driver can change the gears manually using a toggle switch on the gearshift lever.
Depending on the trim, the Ford Figo AT comes with electrochromic IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system. The car also comes with safety features such as standard dual front airbags, side & curtain airbags, traction control system, hill launch assist, and electronic stability control.
The Ford Figo AT is available with five exciting colour options Diamond White, Ruby Red, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey and White Gold. Additionally, Ford is also offering the Figo AT with FordPass connectivity features at no extra cost. With FordPass, users can perform operations like starting, stopping, locking, or unlocking the vehicle remotely.
The Ford Figo AT also comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km standard warranty and service intervals of 10,000 km. The brand also boasts that Ford Figo comes with a low scheduled maintenance scheme in the first year, costing INR 1,313. The 100,000-km or 10-year service is also surprisingly low, with a cost of just INR 4,097.
