Ducati has launched the new 2021 Scrambler Nightshift edition to its product portfolio with the new BS6/Euro5 compliant engine. The brand has released the official prices of the motorcycle but they are expected to arrive at showrooms in India by early next year. Apart from the new Nightshift variant which is priced at INR 10.70 lakh ex-showroom, Ducati has also upgraded the Desert Sled and Icon variant in the Scrambler 800 portfolio which will be available in two new color options.

The new Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is offered in a dark new aviator grey finish and flat track-inspired bodywork along with LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, interchangeable headlight covers, LED taillamps, LED turn indicators, low set aluminum handlebars, a chopped minimalist front fender, cafe racer style bar-end mounted rearview mirrors, side flat track number plate, a chopped off rear mudguard integrated with the turn signal mounts, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications, under-seat storage compartment with the built-in USB charging point and a special Nightshift badge.

The Desert Sled pays homage to the Enduro bikes of the ‘80s and features a new ‘Sparking Blue’ livery with red and white details on the fuel tank, a high mounted front fender, and headlight mesh guard as standard, a longer 200mm travel front fork and a new anti-slip lining for the seat. The Desert Sled in the BS6 avatar is priced at INR 11.80 lakh ex-showroom. The brand has also introduced the 2021 Scrambler Icon with a “Ducati Red” color alongside the classic “62 Yellow” and features a black frame and seats. Apart from the color and the new BS6/Euro5 compliant engine, the Icon sees no changes.

Powering the new 2021 ‘Land of Joy’ range is a new Euro5/BS6 emission compliant 803cc air-cooled L-Twin-Cylinder powerplant with the Ducati Desmodromic distribution system and two-valve per-cylinder along with Electronic fuel injection that belts out 72 Hp of power and 66.2 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed transmission with hydraulically controlled slipper and self-servo wet multi-plate clutch.
