Benelli has launched the 2021 BS6 emission-compliant Benelli TRK 502 adventure class motorcycle at the price of INR 4.80 lakh ex-showroom, India Introductory price, which will soon be increased. The brand has also announced that the Benelli Red and Pure White colours are priced at INR 4.90 lakh ex-showroom, India INR 10,000 more than the Metallic Dark Grey colour. The brand has also announced that bookings for the Benelli TRK 502 have commenced and the motorcycle can be booked by putting down payment of INR 10,000.
The 2021 Benelli TRK 502 is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 500cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that produces 47.5 PS of power and 46 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine has been tuned to comply with the stricter emission requirements. The brand also claims to have refined the new BS6 engine and is now also offered with a gear shift indicator enabling the rider to slot the correct gear according to the situation.
The engine is wrapped in a tubular steel trellis frame that boasts a balance between strength and agility. The TRK 502 rides on an upside-down front fork suspension on the front and an adjustable rear monoshock suspension. The brand has also upgraded the seats which have been newly designed and come with double-threaded stitching offering the right amount of padding.
The 2021 Benelli TRK 502 also features an aerodynamically designed windscreen that offers weather protection to the rider, a new black finished handlebar with pitch level adjustments, new cast aluminium rear box bracket, a new analogue display with white backlit and an LCD multi-information digital display with amber backlight. The switchgear has also been improved with illumination and placed ergonomically offering ease of use even in pitch black conditions. The mirrors have also been lengthened and broadened than before and offer more visibility. The brand has also updated the TRK 502 with all-new knuckle guards for hand protection, new engine guards that protect the engine from fall and a switchable ABS that offers protection to the rider.
The 2021 Benelli TRK 502 BS6 is offered in three colour options – Benelli Red, Pure White and Metallic Dark Grey.
