2021 BMW 5-Series launched in India at INR 62.90 lakh, 3 Variants

BMW has launched the new 5-Series in the Indian market starting at INR 62.90 lakh ex-showroom. The BMW 5-Series will be available in one petrol and two diesel variants. The brand has announced that bookings for the BMW 5-Series are now open at all BMW Dealerships in India from today onwards.

2021 BMW 5-Series – Variants & Price

The BMW 5-Series will be locally produced at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. The brand offers three variants of the 5-Series in India. The line-up includes the BMW 530i M Sport (Petrol) with a price tag of INR 62.90 lakh ex-showroom. For diesel aficionados, BMW is also offering the BMW 520d Luxury Line (Diesel) at the price of INR 63.90 lakh ex-showroom and the BMW 530d M Sport INR 71.90 lakh ex-showroom.

2021 BMW 5-Series – Offers

The brand also announces that customers booking the M Sport variant through the online booking channel will receive an attractive offer on limited units. The offer is valid on bookings made till the 24th July 2021. BMW will also offer a discount of up to 50% on a selected range of exclusive M Performance accessories specially curated for the 5-Series. Customers can also choose to enhance the aesthetics of the 5-Series through the range of sporty accessories.

2021 BMW 5-Series – Finance & Service Options

BMW is also offering easy finance options through BMW India Financial Services. This includes 360-degree exclusive financial packages and low monthly payments starting at INR 49,999. The brand is also offering assured buy-back of up to 4 years and flexible end of term options. The brand also offers Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus with various service plans for hassle-free ownership. Plans include Condition Based Service (CBS) and maintenance work from 3-year/40,000 km to 10-year/2,00,000 km. The 3-year period service plan starts at INR 52,000, which is the lowest in the segment.

2021 BMW 5-Series – Engine Specifications

Powering the BMW 530i M Sport is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. The engine produces 252 Hp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The petrol motor comes with an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission capable of accelerating the sedan from 0-100 in just 6.1 seconds.

Powering the BMW 520d Luxury Line is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. The oil motor produces 190 Hp of power and 400 Nm of torque. The engine comes with an 8-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission capable of propelling the car from 0-100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

Powering the BMW 530d M Sport is a 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine. The oil motor produces 265 Hp of power and 620 Nm of torque. The diesel engine features an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission capable of launching the car from 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds.

The car also features BMW Driving Experience Control with ECO PRO Coasting. The car also gets Adaptive Suspension with independent damping, Launch Control and Cruise Control with Braking Function, depending on the model.

2021 BMW 5-Series – Top Features

The BMW 5-Series comes with high-quality materials and bespoke upholstery. Depending on the variant, the 5-Series comes with full-LED Adaptive headlights as standard and BMW Laserlight in M Sport variants. The 530i M Sport gets perforated Sensatec upholstery. The BMW 520d comes with Natural Leather Dakota upholstery, and the BMW 530d features an even more refined ‘Nappa’ leather upholstery with diamond stitching. The 530i also comes with sports seats, a sports leather steering wheel and specific trim strips.

Also, available is four-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting package. The 5-Series also gets BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0 and 12.3-inch instruments cluster. Also available are features like BMW Head-Up Display, BMW Virtual Assistant, BMW Gesture Control, BMW Display Key etc.
