BMW has launched the new 3 Series Gran Limousine in the Indian market at an introductory price starting INR 51.50 lakh ex-showroom, India. The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine comes in three variants across petrol and diesel engine options. The BMW 330Li LuxuryLine (petrol) is the entry-level trim priced at INR 51.50 lakh ex-showroom, India. The BMW 330Ld LuxuryLine (diesel) is priced at INR 52.50 lakh ex-showroom, India and the BMW 330 Li M Sport First Edition (petrol) is priced at INR 53.90 lakh ex-showroom, India.
All prices are introductory and are expected to be increased in the near future. The brand has also announced that the 330Li M Sport ‘First Edition’ will be available only for a limited period and will be offered with additional features such as BMW Heads-Up Display, BMW Gesture Control, Comfort Access and Surround-view 360-degree cameras.
The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine features a 110mm longer wheelbase, 43mm of extra legroom and 110mm longer rear doors for easy ingress and egress into the rear cabin. The brand offers the 3 Series with Vernasca leather upholstery and the Gran Limousine gets improved cushioning and bolstering on the seats. The 3 Series is also offered with fully digital BMW Live Cockpit Professional instrumentation, touchscreen infotainment with connected features, voice command, three-zone climate control, a panoramic glass sunroof, LED headlamps, 3D L-shaped taillamps, automatic tailgate, welcome light carpet, ambient interior lights with contour strip on the back of the front seats, Harmon/Kardon sound system, wireless charging, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Parking Assistant, Reversing Assistant etc.
The 3 Series is powered by a 2.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine produces 258 Hp of power on the petrol that enables the car to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. In the diesel avatar, the engine produces 190 Hp of power and helps accelerate the car from 0-100 kmph in just 7.6 seconds. The engine is matched to an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission which also features Launch Control, BMW Experience Control Driving Modes etc.
The brand in the recent past commenced bookings on the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine at the amount of INR 50,000 and now the car is available for purchase across all BMW India dealerships. The brand has also introduced easy acquisition options through BMW Financial Services with low monthly payments of INR 59,999 along with assured buyback up to 4-years and flexible end of terms options.
Also, to ease the cost of ownership, BMW is offering service inclusive packages that range from 3-years/40,000 km to 10-years/200,000 km. The service inclusive packages start from INR 39,530 for the petrol variants and INR 56,522 for the diesel variant. The brand is also offering a repair inclusive package for 3-years and unlimited mileage at INR 32,804.
The BMW 3 Series is locally produced in India at the BMW Group plant in Chennai, exclusively for the Indian market.
