Benelli has launched the MY 2021 Imperiale 400 in the Indian market at the price of INR 1.89 lakh ex-showroom. The MY 2021 Imperiale 400 is now INR 10,000 cheaper than the outgoing model which was updated to BS6 standards in the recent past. The 2021 Benelli Imperiale 400’s new attractive price is due to the increased localisation as well as the strengthening of the rupee against the dollar.
The brand has also announced that the company is confident with the 2021 Imperiale as it in now better poised to compete with the modern-classic range of motorcycles such as the Honda H’ness CB 350 and the Royal Enfield range of 350cc motorcycles. The new pricing also enables a wider range of audience access to the retro-classic Benelli Imperiale 400 motorcycle.
Powering the 2021 Benelli Imperiale 400 is the new BS6 emission-compliant 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection that produces 21 PS of power and 29 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The Benelli Imperiale 400 features a double-cradle chassis telescopic front suspension and twin hydraulic gas-charged shock absorbers with coil spring and disc brakes at both ends. Braking power comes from a single 300mm disc with 2 pistons floating calliper on the front and a single 240 mm disc with a single-piston floating calliper equipped with dual-channel ABS technology for safety.
The Benelli Imperiale 400 comes a rounded halogen headlamp, upright handlebars, teardrop fuel tank, twin-pot instruments, split seats, black-finished engine, peashooter style low slung exhaust, a rounded taillamp and spoked wheels on the front and rear. The Imperiale 400 also comes with a 2-Year Unlimited km manufacturer warranty along with the option of a separate 2-Year extended warranty.
Recently, Benelli also launched the 2021 BS6 compliant TRK 502 adventure class motorcycle at the price of INR 4.80 lakh ex-showroom, India (Introductory Price). Bookings for the TRK 502 have already commenced in the Indian market at the price of INR 10,000. The Benelli TRK 502 BS6 is offered in three colour options – Benelli Red, Metallic Dark Grey and Pure White.
