2021 Benelli 302s sportsbike revealed

Benelli’s Chinese partner, QJ Motor has updated the new QJ350-13 better known as the QJ Motor Chase 350 in China. The motorcycle could make its debut as the Benelli 302s in the European markets as well as the Indian market. The Chase 350 is also likely to be the base for the Harley-Davidson HD-350 which will be made in partnership with QJ Motor in China.

Design & Styling

The 2021 update brings a new Brutale-ish front fascia. If that’s not a word, it appears to have drawn inspiration from a prominent Italian motorcycle manufacturer. The Chase 350 comes with an oval low-slung headlamp with projector lamps and LED daytime running lights. The fascia also gets a triangular flyscreen on top which protects the instruments display from wind and weather. The motorcycle also features sleek LED indicators and LED taillamps.

2021 Chase 350 also comes with a chiselled fuel tank and angular tank shrouds. The motorcycle also gets a sharp tail end with sleek and aerodynamic cowling and small front and rear fenders. The Chase 350 features split seats and a straight handlebar. The motorcycle also gets an exposed trellis frame chassis finished in fluorescent to match the paint theme. Earlier images of a Chase 350 in blue colour also emerged on the internet.

Powertrain

While details are still scarce, speculations are that the powertrain will remain unchanged. This means the Chase 350 will come with a 353cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The parallel-twin engine produces 36. Bhp of power and 31 Nm of torque. The engine will come with a 6-speed gearbox.

Mechanical Equipment

The Chase 350 comes with mechanical features such as the trellis frame chassis, upside-down front fork, a mono-shock on the rear and twin petal disc brakes on the front and a single disc on the rear.
