2021 Bajaj Dominar 250 dual tone paint options coming soon

Bajaj Auto recently decreased the prices on the Dominar 250. A quarter-litre motorcycle that Bajaj positions as a sport-tourer. Now the brand is planning to upgrade the Bajaj Dominar 250 with new colour themes. The new colour themes will help the motorcycle stay relevant to the market and compete better with the Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the KTM 250 Duke.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – New Colours

The Bajaj Dominar 250 currently retails with the Canyon Red and Charcoal Black colour options. According to leaked images, the brand will be offering three new dual-tone colours. The new colour options include Citrus Rush & Matte Silver, Sparkling Black & Matte Silver and Racing Red & Matte Silver.

The Citrus Rush & Matte Silver colour option features a combination of lemon yellow and silver on the body and alloy wheels. The Racing Red and Matte Silver option come with a combination of Red with Silver and the Sparkling Black with Matte Silver come with a glossy black shade. All three colour options come with black accents and silver finish alloy wheels.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – Engine Specifications

The new Bajaj Dominar 250 with the new colour schemes will come with the same 248.8cc single-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled engine with a four-valve DOHC valvetrain delivers 27 PS of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. The BS6 compliant motor comes with electronic fuel injection, twin spark ignition and a 6-speed gearbox, with a wet multi-plate clutch.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – Mechanical Specifications

The Bajaj Dominar 250 will also remain unchanged in the mechanical department and continue to ride on a beam type perimeter frame. The mainframe also gets an aluminium subframe and aluminium swingarm. The bike features 37mm USD front forks and a multi-step adjustable monoshock on the rear. The motorcycle also comes with 300mm front and 230mm rear hydraulically operated disc brakes. The Dominar 250 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and road-biased tyres.

The brand is likely to retail the new colours alongside the Canyon Red and Charcoal Black that is currently available. Recently Bajaj also upgraded its Pulsar range with new colours and graphics.
