Audi launched the new A4 in the Indian market at the starting price of INR 42.34 lakhs ex-showroom, India. The brand has announced that the new Audi A4 sedan will be produced at the SAVWIPL (SKODA Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd) plant in Aurangabad, India and we got the chance to drive and review the 2021 Audi A4. The 2021 Audi A4 is offered in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. The sedan is available across 5 colour options – Terra Grey, Floret Silver, Mythos Black, Ibis White and the one we are driving today is the Navarra Blue shade. The 2021 Audi A4 is powered by a BS6 emissions-compliant 2.0-litre TFSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) four-cylinder petrol motor that churns out 190 Hp of power and 320 Nm of torque matched to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and a mild-hybrid electrification system that provides torque-assist to the engine improving acceleration, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
On the exteriors, the Audi A4 features the hallmark single-frame grille with chrome accents, Audi branding in the centre, sharp LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights that also double up as turn indicators. The bumper features dark and satin chrome elements in the foglamp area and aero ducts to improve the aerodynamic efficiency. The Audi A4 features straight shoulder lines separated from the crease lines on wheel arches, LED tail lamps, dynamic turn indicators on the rear and exhaust tips integrated into the lower bumper.
On the inside, the Audi A4 features a multilayered dashboard, ambient lighting package with 30 colour options, a free-standing 10.1-inch high-resolution Audi MMI touch display with connected car features, MMI navigation plus, 3-zone climate control with horizontal air conditioning vents on the dashboard fascia, multifunction steering wheel, All-Digital Audi Virtual cockpit, Audi Phone box with wireless charging, Park Assist with parking Aid Plus, gesture-based trunk opening and Audi Comfort Key feature.
