Tata Motors has launched the Tigor compact-sedan with a facelift and a BS6 engine update. Also, the diesel engine options for the Tigor have now been dropped, and the facelift now introduces the Impact 2.0 Design language. The Tigor is a sub-4 metre sedan based on the Tiago to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and Volkswagen Ameo. The refreshed Tigor models will now be offered in red, white, silver, grey and blue paint options.

Changes to the 2020 Tata Tigor include a new front grille with tri-arrow design, LED DRLs, new bumpers, new headlamps, new alloy wheels, new tail lamps, flat bottom steering wheel and new dual tone interiors. The Tigor gets a 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system from Harman, digital speedometer cluster, 8-speaker setup, engine start / stop system, etc.
Powering the Tata Tigor is a BS6 compliant, 1.2L, Revotron motor which is a 3-cylinder block producing 86 PS of power @ 6000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque @ 3300 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. The Tigor measures 3993mm in length, 1677mm in width, 1532mm in height, 2540mm in wheelbase, 170mm in ground clearance, 419 L of boot space and the kerb weight ranges between 992 – 1033 kg.
