Tata Motors has updated most of their popular products to meet the BS6 emission norms, and the brand has officially launched the Tiago with a facelift as well. Prices for the 2020 Tata Tiago start from INR 4.60 lakh, and potential buyers should make note that the diesel variants are now discontinued, and the stocks available could be the pre-facelift version of this popular B1 segment hatchback. Tata Motors has decided not to upgrade the diesel Tiago to BS6 standards sighting poor demand.

With more than 2.5 lakh Tiago hatchbacks sold in India, the new 2020 facelift brings the Impact Design 2.0 to the table. The 2020 Tiago will be sold in yellow, red, white, solver, grey and blue paint options along with dual tone finish available on all the colours. With the diesel model now discontinued, the 2020 Tata Tiago comes powered by a BS6 compliant, 1.2L, 3-cylinder, Revotron petrol motor producing 86 PS of power @ 6000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque @ 3300 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox option. The Tiago comes with 170mm of ground clearance, 242 L of boot space, kerb weight ranging between 935 – 991 kg and 35 L of fuel tank capacity.
The 2020 Tata Tiago does look fresh in its design and should help the brand acquire more customers. For safety, it comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control.
