2020 Renault Captur facelift leaked

The images of the 2020 Renault Captur facelift have been leaked and the car is expected to get the updates only on the International-spec model and the brand may skip the update for the Indian model as the car is only two years old here and has been sold only in double-digit numbers last month, even though it sits in the very popular segment.

The European Captur and the Indian Captur are already different as the former is based on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform while the Indian one gets the longer Duster platform. The Duster platform is used on the Indian-spec car to keep the costs in check.

Images that has been leaked and circulating on the internet is believed to be of the 2020 facelift Renault Captur. The car is due to launch and the image gives us an idea on what to expect on the facelift model. It may not come to India, but in case if the brand decides to bring the facelift to India it will get the same grille as the current model, but different headlights with LED lamps somewhat similar to the Renault Megane. The crossover car is also expected to receive a new air dam, LED fog lights, a silver accented lip on the bumper, chrome-accented plastic cladding on the lower ends of the doors, chrome window sills, etc. Tail lights, bumpers, alloy wheels and body cladding will be different than on the current model.

On the interiors, the car is expected to get a refreshed steering wheel, a larger infotainment display, and an optional colour TFT instrument cluster. The Captur is expected to share a lot of interior elements from the recently updated Clio hatchback.

The European facelift model is expected to come with a variety of petrol and diesel powertrain options along with a plug-in hybrid and pure electric powertrain variants.
