Seems like finally some good times at Nissan are not too far away. The Nissan Magnite compact-SUV concept looked very good on the outside, and now the newly revealed interior pictures should also excite customers who are waiting to drive home in an urban SUV. Nissan unveiled the Magnite compact-SUV concept last month, and now the new pictures reveal the cabin space and features to some extent. As we all know, the Nissan Magnite will be a sub-4 metre compact-SUV here to rival the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. By Nissan standards and their existing portfolio, the new car surely looks bold and modern. While the real production car is still in development, we expect most of what we see today to be carried over.
On the interiors, one can notice that the Magnite is going to get a layered dashboard setup with textured pattern probably in a contrast shade to add to the premium touch. The Magnite is also boldly highlighting the full digital speedometer cluster along with a flat bottom steering wheel behind housing a plethora of controls. The AC vents have chrome surrounds will a hexagonal design and the dashboard top is relatively flat. The Magnite is also revealing its full automatic climate control system and there is a generous use of satin silver elements in the cabin. The engine start / stop button is placed ahead of the gear stick and you can also very clearly notice that an automatic gearbox option could be on offer.
Other highlights of the cabin of the Nissan Magnite include contrast paint / fabrics on the door trims, leather upholstery with contrast stitching, centre armrest for the front passengers, rear AC vents, centre arm rest at the back, textured roof liner, rear quarter glass for additional light inside the cabin and 2 adjustable head rests at the back.
Engine specifications and other key details about the Nissan Magnite are expected to be shared in the coming weeks. The pricing is expected to be in the range of INR 6.5 – 9.5 lakh, given that Nissan is not going to offer a diesel engine option.
