MV Agusta has globally revealed the 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR SCS and started accepting reservations for the production slot at the price of EUR 100 which will be included in the final price of the naked streetfighter. The production slot reservation can be made through the brand’s official website by registering online and making the payment via a number of digital payment gateways.
Powering the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR SCS is a 798cc in-line, three-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke, 12-valve DOHC motor with a mechanical chain tensioner, MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) fuel injection system that punches out 140 Hp of power and 87 Nm of torque matched to a cassette 6-speed gearbox with MV EAS 2.1 electronic bi-directional quickshifter and S.C.S. 2.0 (Smart Clutch System) that features a Radius CX automatic clutch with hydraulic actuators.
The 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR SCS features the Smart Clutch System, a new technology that was introduced on the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 SCS and the system works by automatically disengaging the clutch when the motorcycles roll into a stop, say for example at a traffic light, preventing the bike from stalling. As the rider roll on the throttle, the clutch is engaged again repealing the use of the physical clutch lever. But the rider operates the gear lever in a conventional manner. The system can also be overridden and the rider can take full control over the clutch system physically.
In terms of design and styling, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR remains unchanged but gets two new paint schemes – Shock Pearl Red/Avio Grey and Ago Silver/Dark Metallic Grey. The naked streetfighter features a rounded headlamp with LED daytime running lights, a pod-style digital instruments console, chiselled fuel tank with a 16.5-litre capacity, boomerang-shaped side cowling, step-up seats, flat handlebars, slash-cut triple tipped exhausts.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR SCS is priced at EUR 16,990 in the international market.
