2020 KTM RC390, RC200 & RC125 launched with new body colours

KTM has launched new colour options in the brand’s supersport range of motorcycle which includes the KTM RC125, the RC200 and the RC390. All three race competition series motorcycles now come with Dark Galvano, Electronic Orange and Metallic Silver, respectively. It is important to note that the KTM RC125 which gets the new Dark Galvano colour option already comes with the Electronic Orange option. The KTM RC200 which now comes with the new Electronic Orange is also available with the Dark Galvano finish and the KTM RC390 which now comes with the Metallic Silver paint also comes with Ceramic White paint option. 

The KTM RC series is inspired by the KTM RC16 and Moto3 factory racers. The motorcycles feature sharp and aggressive design language and come with dual split projector headlight units with integrated daytime running lights, mirror integrated front turn signal indicators, front nose integrated windscreen, chiselled fuel tank, angular body panels, a high tail section with LED taillamps, rear-set footpegs and clip-on handlebars. 

In the engine department, the RC390 is powered by a 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke motor that makes 44 Hp of power and 35 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit and an assist and slipper clutch. The RC200 is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 25.8 HP of power and 19.2 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox and the RC125 comes with a 124.7cc single-cylinder DOHC engine with fuel injection and fuel injection that produces 14.5 PS of power and 12 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit. 

The RC series comes with a rigid lightweight racing chassis that rides on 43mm upside-down front fork from WP, a 10-step adjustable rear monoshock, 300mm (320mm on the KTM RC390- single hydraulically operated disc brakes on the front and a 230mm unit on the rear.

The KTM RC 125 is priced at INR 1,59,629 ex-showroom, the RC 200 is priced at INR 2,00,864 and the RC 390 is priced at INR 2,53,184, ex-showroom, Delhi. There is nothing quite like the KTM RC series of motorcycles here in India. The bikes will completely ready for a race track outing, while having engine performance suitable for different kind of riders. Where the RC125 can be easy for beginners, the RC390 has more than enough pump to keep the seasoned riders happy as well. KTM is expected to reveal the all-new 2021 series of KTM RC motorcycles later this year. The bikes will be built by Bajaj here in India, as always, and will be exported worldwide.
