2020 KTM 250 Adventure revealed, will be affordable

At the recently concluded EICMA show in Milan, the highlight for Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts was the KTM 390 Adventure. While the bike revealed is more road-biased and a off-road specific ‘R’ variant isn’t on the cards for immediate future, KTM surely has another affordable off-roader to offer. The Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer has now revealed the 250 Adventure which will make a debut in India along with the 390 Adventure. The bikes are expected to launch at the 2019 India Bike Week in December, and the KTM 250 Adventure will be a lot more affordable.

Powering the KTM 250 Adventure will be the same engine, but now BS6 compliant. The 248.8cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke motor will produce 30 HP of power and 24 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox.

Styling of both the models is identical, the same body panels and design. However the livery and paint schemes on the 250 Adventure and 390 Adventure will differ. The KTM 250 Adventure will also get alloy wheels with a 19″ front rim and a 17″ rear rim shod with knobby tyres for off-road abilities. The KTM 250 Adventure will also have long travel suspension rated for 170mm of travel at the front and 177 at the back. Ground clearance of the bike is 200mm and the seat height is set at 855mm.
