2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets new paint option with gold accents

Without any doubt, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most value-for-money motorcycles. Yes we said it, and we mean it in relative terms when you compare it with rivals in the segment. For 2020, Kawasaki is now offering a new paint scheme on the Ninja ZX-10R which continues to have a strong demand in the Indian market thanks to the price tag of INR 13.99 lakh ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is brought to our market via the CKD route, hence the competitive price tag.

The new paint option comes at no extra cost. While some might find it very close to the KRT livery, it isn’t. The 2020 green & black paint scheme also gets a healthy dose of gold painted accents which make it look different, and easy to stand out as the new model. The bike has seen no mechanical change.

Powering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder, 4-stroke petrol motor which produces 200.2 BHP of power @ 13500 RPM and 114.9 Nm of torque @ 11200 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets q quickshifter, slipper assist clutch, traction control, riding modes, ABS, full adjustable Showa suspension unit, Brembo brake setup, full digital dashboard, LED tail lamps, clear font windscreen, etc.

The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R will be delivered to customers from October 2019 onwards. The bike rivals Honda CBR1000RR, Ducati Panigale V4, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Yamaha YZF-R1 and BMW S1000RR. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a very common sight though now on the Indian streets and does not really feel all that exclusive in the big bike world. All other competition motorcycles are relatively rare to sight on the streets. But that is a testament to the customer preference and the trust Kawasaki has built with their network here in India. Backed with CKD assembly, the pricing compared to competition is really hard to ignore.
