2020 Hyundai Tucson SUV launched in India at INR 22.30 lakh (Photo Gallery)

The flagship for brand Hyundai in India, the Tucson has been launched at prices starting from INR 22.30 lakh. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson will be available in 2WD AT GL (O), 2WD AT GLS & 4WD AT GLS variants. The Tucson is the biggest SUV that Hyundai offers here in our market, but it is a 5-seater model. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson is a facelift and globally, the Tucson brand has managed to find over 6.5 million customers till date. Point to note, the AWD capability is only on offer with the diesel variant of the Tucson. Prices are as follows :-

In 2020, the Hyundai Tucson in India does not come with a manual gearbox option. Both the petrol and diesel BS6 engines only have an automatic gearbox on offer. Powering the Tucson petrol is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder motor producing 152 PS of peak power @ 6200 RPM and 19.6 kgm of peak torque @ 4000 RPM matched to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Powering the Tucson diesel is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder motor with e-VGT producing 185 PS of peak power @ 4000 RPM and 40.8 kgm of peak torque between 1750 – 2750 RPM matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Only the diesel Tucson benefits with a HTRAC AWD system giving it more off-road capability.

The 2020 Hyundai Tucson comes with a completely reworked front and rear design. Changes include new front and rear bumpers, new penta projector LED headlamps with LED DRLs, new LED tail lamps, cascading chrome front grille, new 18″ diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome door handles, puddle lamps, new fog lamp housing, new rear reflectors, different skid plate design, etc. Inside, the 2020 Hyundai Tucson comes with dark themed interiors with leather upholstery, powered seats for the driver and front passenger, touchscreen colour display infotainment, automatic climate control, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, infinity sound system with 8 speakers, voice commands, engine start / stop button, BlueLink connected car technology, electric park brake, etc. For safety, the Tucson benefits with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, stability control, hill-start assist, downhill brake control, brake assist, TPMS, rain sensing wipers, electronic shift lock, ISOFIX, front and rear parking sensors, speed alert system, and more…

Hyundai is also allowing for a flexible warranty on the Tucson, as per customer preference (detailed below).
