It was earlier this month that the all-new BMW X6 made a global debut. And now, this new generation of the X6 has been caught testing on Indian roads. The new X6 is expected to be launched in the Indian market close to the end of 2019 or by end 2020. The new generation X6 is based on the X5 Cluster Architecture and the X5 has already arrived in Indian showrooms.
The car testing was seen with camouflage, although there is nothing really to hide as we have seen the global X6 already in full. The X6 will continue with the coupe-like styling and will be a nice crossover between the X5 & the recently launched X7. BMW launched the X7 in India at a price tag of INR 98.90 lakh, so expect the X6 to be priced a little lower than that.
This is the 3rd generation BMW X6 and is much sharper than its predecessors. Sleeker laser & LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, snazzy alloy wheels, less bulky silhouette, ample of satin chrome accents, body cladding, massive front grille, rear spoiler, dual exhaust tips and more will make the new X6 feel a lot more premium.
The new X6 will have plenty of engine options. A 3.0L, 6-cylinder petrol that pumps 340 HP of power, 4.4L,V8 petrol which pumps out 530 HP of power, 3.0L V6 diesel wjhich priduces 265 HP of power and a 3.0L quad turbo V6 which produces 400 HP of power.
The BMW X6 is a coupe-like crossover SUV which will be a 5-seater model. A premium product, which will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
