2019 Volkswagen Polo & Vento launched in India with new ‘GT Line’ edition

Volkswagen is still not giving up on the Polo and Vento here in India. While both these cars are quite old in their respective segments now, the German car manufacturer has launched the refreshed version for 2019 with new ‘GT Line’ editions. Prices for the 2019 Polo start at INR 5.82 lakh and for the Vento start at INR 8.76 lakh (ex-showroom).

The refreshed model of the Polo and Vento now get new sporty side skirt appliques, tail lamps with smoked effect, honeycomb mesh front grille inspired from the Volkswagen GTI line, new front bumper and rear bumper with diffuser. Both cars now get a new ‘Sunset Red’ body colour option along with a ‘GT Line’ variant which brings to the table black roof effect, GT Line badge on the fender and a side foil, gloss black rear view mirror and black rear spoiler. The Polo and Vento get Volkswagen Connect tech as standard in the Highline Plus and GT variants.

Volkswagen is also offering the Polo and Vento with a standard warranty of 4 years / 1,00,000 km, 4-year free RSA and 3 free services. One can also get a 5-year standard warranty on diesel-powered Volkswagen cars. As per the new AIS safety norms, the Polo and Vento come with dual front airbags, speed alert alarm, rear reverse parking sensors, seat belt warning.

Apart from the new red, the 2019 Volkswagen Polo and Vento can be bought in brown, blue, grey, white and silver paint options.
