Well, in the Indian market, the Tata Nexon compact-SUV is the only car so far to have received a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. But that is not the only card that the brand is playing. Tata Motors has introduced a new 2019 limited edition Nexon Kraz to bump up sales now with more competition having arrived. You can pronounce Kraz as ‘Craze’.
This is the 2nd limited edition of the Nexon Kraz and this time, the compact-SUV gets tangerine / orange accents on the outside and inside. The Nexon Kraz manual has been priced at INR 7.57 lakh while the AMT variant asks for INR 8.17 lakh. The brand claims there are a total of 10 changes this time around, and this has been done owing to the success of the old iteration of the Nexon Kraz.
For 2019, the Tata Nexon Kraz comes with Tromso black body colour, sonic silver roof paint, orange accents on ORVMs, orange accents on the front grille, orange accents on the wheel caps, Kraz badging on the boot lid, orange accents on the fabric seats inside, orange contrast stitching, piano black applique for dashboard with orange accents for AC vents, piano black accents on the door and piano black accents on the steering wheel.
Powering the Tata Nexon is a 110 PS engine, both in petrol and diesel options. Tata Motors offers multi-drive Eco, City & Sport modes on the Nexon compact-SUV. Other noteworthy features of the Tata Nexon include 209mm of ground clearance, Harman 4-speaker audio system and the most funky styling in the Tata motors portfolio.
Hyundai Venue which has been the most recent launch in the segment has been eating up the sales of nearly every competitor. This new Nexon Kraz seems a bid to fight back and maintain a strong ground in the SUV-loving Indian market.
