TVS has now introduced a Special Edition model for their popular commuter motorcycle the StaR City+ for the festive season of 2019. This StaR City+ Special Edition has been priced at INR 54,579 ex-showroom and will be available in a new white + black dual tone paint scheme. The StaR City+ falls in the 110cc commuter motorcycle segment in India, which is a very high volume segment.
The 2019 StaR City+ Special Edition comes with dual tone seat cover, dual tone mirror casing, painted rear shock absorber, dual tone paint scheme, new body decals, blacked out engine section, black painted pillion grab rail and the likes. This refresh is expected to wow customers looking for something exclusive for their garage in the festive season.
The StaR City+ Special Edition also comes with other features such as AHO, honecomb texture for the side body panel, stainless-steel head shield for the exhaust, 3D emblem, black alloy wheels and black fly screen. The bike rides on telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers which are adjustable, button type tubeless tyres, padded seat and soft-touch switch gear.
The bike is powered by a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke motor producing 8.4 PS of power @ 7000 RPM and 8.7 Nm of torque @ 5000 RPM matched to a 4-speed gearbox. This commuter motorcycle has a ground clearance of 172mm, kerb weight of 109 kg and a total fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.
