Suzuki has launched the all-new Gixxer SF 250 motorcycle in the Indian market. This bike is more of a touring biased model and comes with a fully faired design. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has been priced at INR 1,70,665 ex-showroom Delhi and will rival primarily the Yamaha Fazer 25. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 comes in 2 colour options – Matte Black and Matte Silver.
Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve motor producing 26.5 PS of power and 22.6 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. We wish the bike got liquid-cooling, but at least it has a 6-speed gearbox which is superior to the competition offering. The bike comes with fuel-injection and has an electric starter, but no kick start.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 measures 2010mm in length, 740mm in width, 1035mm in height, 1345mm in wheelvase, 165mm in ground clearance, 800mm for seat height, 161 kg of kerb weight and comes with a 12L fuel tank. The bike rides on cast alloy wheels, painted in black.
In terms of features, the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 comes with a full digital speedometer console, dual-channel ABS system, front and rear disc brakes, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, 12V 6Ah maintenance free battery, fully faired design, split seats, pillion grab rail, saree guard, rear tyre hugger, clip-on handlebars, small windscreen, single exhaust end can with dual outlets, sculpted fuel tank and minimum decals which looks very classy.
The 2019 Gixxer SF 250 rides on a telescopic front fork and rear monoshock. The bike has radial tubeless tyres from MRF which measure 150/60/R17 on the rear and 110/70/R17 on the front.
