This is the 10th generation Honda Civic, and it is all set to make an Indian debut later next month. The 2019 Honda Civic will get a 1.8L, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol motor producing 141 PS of power @ 6500 RPM and 174 Nm of torque @ 4300 RPM matched to a CVT automatic gearbox only. This block will deliver 16.5 KMPL of mileage.
The diesel Honda Civic, a first here in India, will get a 1.6L, DOHC, i-DTEC motor producing 120 PS of power @ 4000 RPM and 300 Nm of torque @ 2000 RPM matched to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. No automatic on offer. The diesel engine will deliver 26.8 kmpl of mileage which is the highest in segment.
The 2019 Honda Civic for India measures 4656mm in length, 1799mm in width, 1433mm in height, 2700mm in wheelbase, 47L of fuel tank capacity and a kerb weight of 1300 kg for the petrol variant and 1353 kg for the diesel variant. The Honda Civic will ride on 17″ alloy wheels and will get all-4 disc brakes. Boot space is rated at 430L.
