Honda has started accepting bookings for the 2019 Africa Twin adventure tourer motorcycle. The bike has been priced at INR 13.5 lakh ex-showroom. The 2019 Honda Africa Twin will be available in Glint Wave Blue Metallic colour with golden handle bar and wheel rims. 22 Wing World dealers across India will sell the new model.
The Africa Twin continues with the same 999.11cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 87.7 BHP of power @ 7500 RPM and 93.1 Nm of torque @ 6000 RPM matched to a 2nd generation dual clutch automatic gearbox. The DCT gearbox allows riders to switch to D mode for cruising and 3 dynamic S modes. There is also a G mode for better off-road riding. The incline detection technology allows the bike to stay in place when going up or down a slope.
The 2019 Honda Africa Twin gets 3 levels of power and engine braking modes. The bike gets ride-by-wire and the 4 riding modes available are Tour, Urban, Gravel & User. The other features available include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and ABS, LCD instrument screen and more…
