2019 BMW Z4 Roadster coming soon to India

A timeless classic that succeeded the legendary BMW 507 is the BMW Z4 Roadster. One of the most sought after sports cars in the world, the BMW Z4 roadster gives all the freedom of wind in the hair performance and refined driving pleasure.

Its dynamic clear drawn crease lines are not only stylish but also redefine modern quality. The sharp LED headlights with daytime running lights and trapezoidal kidney grills give it an aggressive look with large air intakes on the front. The rear end is more detailed with an integrated spoiler, sharp looking L-shaped LED taillights, air ducts on the outer edges of the bumper and diffuser integrated with twin pot exhaust. Besides this, the open-air driving pleasure of the convertible design will leave you emotionally charged.

Internationally the BMW Z4 Roadster has three variants Z4 sDrive20i, Z4 sDrive30i and the Z4 M40i. But in India, the all-new BMW Z4 Roadster will arrive in two variants, the BMW Z4 sDrive20i, which is powered by a 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, four valves per cylinder petrol motor producing 197 HP of power @ 4500 RPM and 320 Nm of torque between 1450-4200 RPM. And the BMW Z4 sDrive20i can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 240 kmph and BMW claims it will still be able to return a fuel economy of 14.37 kmpl which is quite a good number for the car of this caliber. On the other hand, the BMW Z4 M40i is powered by a 3.0-litre, straight-six cylinder, four valves per cylinder petrol motor with a maximum output of 340 HP @ 5000-6500 RPM and peak torque of 500 Nm @ 1600-4500 RPM. The 0-100 kmph time comes in at a respectful 4.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 250 kmph while returning a commendable fuel efficiency of 12.82 kmpl claimed by BMW. Both these motors are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission and rear wheel drive.

The BMW Z4 Roadster was launched in the international market last month and BMW India has now listed the Z4 Roadster on their website and prospects can now register interest for this beautiful piece of art.

The BMW Z4 roadster is likely to be priced between INR 85 lakh to INR 1 crore ex-showroom, India.
