And here’s the official number that matters: 14.86 kmpl fuel efficiency (ARAI-certified). 2025 Skoda Kodiaq powertrain Under the hood, the new Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that churns out 201 bhp between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm and a healthy 320 Nm of torque from as low as 1,500 rpm up to 4,400 rpm. Paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system, the Kodiaq feels equally at home navigating city traffic or devouring long highway stretches. And thanks to this refined powertrain, it now officially delivers a fuel efficiency figure of 14.86 kmpl. Design and Features The cabin gets a major tech upgrade with a 12.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25 inch fully digital Virtual Cockpit. New additions like Smart Dials for adjusting functions like temperature and fan speed, dual 15W ventilated wireless chargers, and a steering column-mounted gear selector make this one of the smartest SUV cabins in the segment. While the Sportline variant features sporty Suedia upholstery and aluminium pedals, the top-spec Selection L&K pampers you with Cognac leather upholstery, Ergo front seats with massage, ventilation, and memory functions. On the outside, the Kodiaq gets a more aerodynamic silhouette measuring 4,758 mm in length, 1,864 mm in width, and 1,679 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. While the Sportline variant flaunts gloss black styling elements and 18-inch Soira alloy wheels, the Selection L&K opts for classier Mazeno alloys with Aero trims and unique Dark Chrome accents. Both variants come standard with LED headlights with a crystalline element, a panoramic sunroof, C-shaped LED tail lamps with animated indicators, and a Virtual Pedal electric tailgate. Speaking of practicality, boot space is generous too — you get 281 litres with all three rows up, 786 litres with the third row folded, and a massive 1,976 litres with both second and third rows folded flat. The fuel tank capacity stands at 62 litres, giving the Kodiaq solid long-distance touring range. 2025 Skoda Kodiaq safety and tech Safety continues to be a priority, with 9 airbags as standard, including a front-centre airbag, and electronic aids like ESC, ABS, EBD, Multi-Collision Braking, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control. The Selection L&K variant takes it up a notch with Pre-Crash Safety, a Driver Drowsiness Monitor, 360-degree Area View cameras, and Intelligent Park Assist. Both variants come loaded with convenience features like 3-zone climate control, a 13-speaker 725W Canton audio system, ambient lighting, rolling sunblinds, a panoramic sunroof, and front and rear parking sensors.
