The 2015 BMW M3 and M4 have been spotted at a dealership, suggesting that the launch is inching closer.
Primary difference between the M3 and M4 is that the M3 is a conventional 5-door sedan, while the M4 is coupe.
Powering the M3 and M4 you will have a 3.0L, TwinTurbo, 6-cylinder petrol motor producing 431 BHP of power and 550 Nm of torque. Engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The M4 coupe can achieve a 0-100 kmph stint in 4.1 seconds while the manual version can do the same in 4.3 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph.
The new generation M3 and the M4 have shredded a lot of weight by using lighter strut brace, drive shaft, roof and roof bow, trunk and fabricating these with carbon fibre reinforced polymer.
The M3 and M4 will be the first amongst the M family which will use an electric power steering.
Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs. 50 lakh onwards.
