Tata’s Tiago.EV is the brands most affordable electric car for the Indian market, and it comes with 2 battery pack options. The higher variants come with a 24 kWh batter pack with a claimed range of 315 km. The entry level Tiago.EV comes with a 19.2 kWh battery pack with a claimed MIDC range of 257 km. These battery packs are liquid cooled, to perform at their best in the Indian weather condition and come with a best-in-class 8 year warranty / 1,60,000 kms. The battery pack is also IP67 water & dust resistant.
Tata Tiago.EV Charging Time?
Tata Motors is offering multiple charging options for the Tiago.EV. The brand will offer a 15A plug point charger with every vehicle, which can be use for anywhere anytime charging. It will also come with a standard 3.3 kW AC charger. Tata also offers a 7.2 kW AC fast charger for homes which will top up 35 km of range in just 30 minutes of charging. 10% – 100% charge can be achieved in 3 hours 36 minutes with this setup. Should a customer opt for DC fast charging, the Tiago.EV will get a boost of 110 kms in just 30 minutes of charging and 10% – 80% SOC can be achieved in 57 minutes.

Tata’s Tiago.EV can be driven in 2 drive modes – city & sport. It offers a 2-pedal automatic drive for a convenient behind the wheel experience. It comes with features such as automatic climate control, projector headlamps, cruise control, powered ORVMs with auto fold function, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, touchscreen 8-speaker Harman infotainment with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, etc.
