100 Honda Elevate SUVs delivered in a day in Hyderabad

Honda Cars India recently introduced its eagerly awaited mid-size SUV, the Honda Elevate, to the Indian market. The starting introductory price for this SUV is set at INR 10.99 lakh. The company has officially commenced the delivery process for this new model. The plan is to distribute the initial units in grand delivery events taking place across the country. The first of these mega-delivery events was held in Hyderabad, where 100 Honda Elevate SUVs were handed over to eager customers.

The mega delivery event emphasized the significance of the Honda Elevate’s entry into the Indian SUV market. Honda Cars India Ltd. intends to organize more such mega-delivery events in various cities, making them one of the few automakers to execute deliveries on such a large scale.

Variants On Offer

The Honda Elevate is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX, with options for both manual and CVT transmissions. This is excluding the base SV, which is only available with a manual transmission. The SV MT variant starts at INR 10.99 lakh, followed by the V MT variant at INR 12.10 lakh and the V CVT variant at INR 13.20 lakh. The VX variant is priced at INR 13.49 lakh for the MT and INR 14.59 lakh for the CVT. The top-of-the-line ZX variant is priced at INR 14.89 lakh (MT) and INR 15.99 lakh (CVT).

Key Design Highlights

In terms of design, the Honda Elevate boasts a bold and muscular exterior, while the interior comes equipped with modern features, including a 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and a push-start button. Additional features include rear AC vents, a single-pane sunroof, a wireless charger, and the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, and lead car departure mitigation.

Honda Elevate Powertrain Details

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate shares its powertrain with the Honda City sedan, featuring a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. This engine delivers 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of peak torque.
