TVS recently launched the Scooty Zest in India, and now plans to sell 10,000 units per month.
Company claims that the scooter is aimed at younger women and the company is optimistic about selling it in big numbers.
Powering the Scooty Zest 110 you have a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine producing 8 BHP of power @ 7,500 RPM and 8.8 Nm of torque @ 5,500 RPM mated to a CVT gearbox. With 5 litres of fuel tank capacity, the scooter provides a fuel efficiency figure of 62 kmpl.
Features on the Scooty Zest include backlit instrument cluster, twilight parking lamps on the front apron, largest in class storage space, two storage hooks, tubeless tyres, parking brake, econometer and long-idling indicator.
The Scooty Zest 110 is priced at Rs. 42,300 (ex-showroom Delhi).
