Tata Tiago.ev is official partner for Tata IPL 2023

Tata Motors has announced that Tiago.ev will be the official partner for the IPL 2023. This also marks the 6th consecutive year of Tata Motors tieing up with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Tata IPL 2023 will being from tonight, i.e. 31st March 2023.

By positioning the Tiago electric as a partner for the IPL 2023, the Indian carmaker wants to promote the use of electric vehicles in households. The aim is to educate the public at large with regards to EVs as well as shatter common misconceptions with regards to the same.

Tata will promote the electric Tiago not just in urban areas but also in rural towns as well.
As Tiago.ev is the official partner for the IPL 2023, Tata will display the car at all the 12 stadiums where the matches are going to take place. Apart from this, Tata is also going to run a campaign called ‘100 reasons to go.ev with Tiago.ev’. This campaign aims to bust popular myths with regards to electric vehicles.

Tata has also announced a Tiago.ev Electric Stricker Award. Players with highest strike rate in a match will get a cash prize of INR 1,00,000 along with a trophy. Further, each time a batsman hits the Tiago.ev car on display, Tata Motors will donate INR 5,00,000 towards enhancing the biodiversity of Coffee Plantations in Karnataka by planting saplings.

IPL tickets for Tata EV owners

As a token of appreciation for being the early adopters of electric vehicles in India, Tata will also send some tickets to Tata EV owners. There, Tata EV owners will be engaged with activities along with get a chance in a lucky draw to present an award to the cricketers as well.

Tata Tiago EV : More Details

Tiago EV is available in four variants – XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech LUX. In terms of colour options, we get to choose from Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Midnight Plum and Tropical Mist. Tiago EV is the company’s fourth electric model after Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max and Tigor EV. But, interestingly enough it is the first electric hatchback in its segment. Tata Tiago EV comes with two Ziptron high-voltage architecture battery pack options to choose from. This includes a larger battery pack with 24 kWh power that comes with a range of 315 kms. Meanwhile, the smaller 19.2 kWh battery offers a 250 km range.
