Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the MY23 Ninja ZX-10R supersport bike in India. The 2023 iteration of the model was recently unveiled internationally and is now available for Indian buyers to buy. Additionally, bookings for the MY23 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R are now open. Customers can visit their nearest Kawasaki dealership to place a booking.

MY23 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Price & Colour Options

Like before, the Ninja ZX-10R comes in a single variant. Kawasaki India is offering the 2023 model in two colour options. Kawasaki has priced both the colour options the same. The MY23 Kawasaki ZX-10R comes with a sticker price of INR 15.99 lakh ex-showroom. Thus, making it quite a bit more expensive than the MY22 Ninja ZX10-R, which Kawasaki launched at INR 15.14 lakh ex-showroom.

One of the two colour options is Lime Green, which is the KRT Edition. This was unveiled in the international market recently. The other colour option is the new Pearl Robotic White. This gets different graphics across the bodywork than the Lime Green. This colour option looks similar to the Metallic Diablo Black from the MY22 Ninja ZX-10R, but with the white replacing the matte grey.

MY23 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Highlights

In terms of design and mechanicals, the MY23 model remains identical to the previous model. Thus, it gets a twin-pod headlight at the front with integrated winglets above it and rear-view-mirror mounted turn signal indicators. The Japanese brand’s flagship supersport machine gets a full-fairing and aggressive look with its nose-down, tail-up stance and side-slung exhaust.

The MY23 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R also continues with the same long list of features. These include all-LED lighting, a 4.3-inch colour TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and more. It also gets 4 integrated rider modes – Rain, Road, Sport and Rider. These link the S-KTRC and Power Mode to allow riders to set traction control and power delivery setting to suit a given rider situation.

As for the engine, it continues to use a BS6-compliant 998cc liquid-cooled inline-four cylinder motor. The output figures stand at 213 PS at 13,200 rpm (with ram air) and 114.9 Nm of torque at 11,400 rpm. The Ninja ZX10-R uses a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox which is ideal for the race track. Additionally, it also gets a bi-directional quickshifter.
