Written by Kanad Kalasur

Maruti Suzuki is celebrating 8 years of its Nexa brand. According to the carmaker, over these years, there have been over 2 million customers across 480 Nexa showrooms in more than 280 cities.

Nexa’s beginnings

Back in 2015, Maruti conceptualised the Nexa retail outlet to cater to customers by offering unique experiences, usage of innovative and intelligent technology and offering a diverse product range. The first car to be sold from this showroom was the S-Cross.

The philosophy of Nexa is ‘Create. Inspire’. Nexa cars are based on Crafted Futurism philosophy. This consists of NEXpression, NEXtech and NEXperience. Each product has been designed to cater to the Nexa customer exclusively.

Today, there are eight models available in Nexa. These include Grand Vitara, Jimny, Fronx, Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and the latest addition Invicto. Today, Nexa offers the latest hybrid and all-grip technology for off-road SUVs as well.

Nexa Experiences

Nexa goes beyond just a car retail outlet. The customers are also treated to experiences that are unexplored and unconventional. These align with Nexa values of being global, pampering, reliable, and innovative. Hence, there are curated experiences under the Nexa Music, Nexa Lifestyle and Nexa Journeys.

Nexa Music is a platform for upcoming music enthusiasts. It offers a platform to compose original English music. Those participating are mentored by A R Rahman. There have already been 2 seasons with the Finale for the Nexa Music Season 2 underway by none other than A R Rahman.

Nexa Lifestyle has partnered with Lakme Fashion Week, collaborating with premium properties like IIFA Awards, Sunburn, Supersonic and Lollapalooza.

Nexa Journeys consists of stories of travellers across India, sharing their varied experiences. These have been showcased on Zee5. The aim of these Nexa Journeys is to inspire others to step out, pack your bags and drive away amidst picturesque views and nature in its true form.
