Ever since it was launched, the Vitara Brezza has been a consistent high selling model in the segment, and continues to be popular with competition not even inching closer in the sales department. Maruti Suzuki has now announced that since its launch in March 2016, the Vitara Brezza has become the SUV to clock the fastest 3 lakh sales milestone.
It took just 28 months for the Vitara Brezza to achieve this feat.
Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the AGS (AMT) gearbox on the Vitara Brezza. The brand reveals that nearly 56% of the total Vitara Brezza customers opt for the top variants. The Vitara Brezza is loaded with safety and tech features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, LED lighting, cruise control, ABS, dual front airbags, EBD, parking sensors, ISOFIC, high speed warning, projector headlamps, etc.
The Vitara Brezza comes only in a diesel engine option. The DDiS 200 block produces 66 kW of power @ 4000 RPM and 200 Nm of torque @ 1750 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. With a claimed mileage of 24.3 kmpl, the Vitara Brezza is also a very efficient compact-SUV.
