Kawasaki reveals Ninja ZX-6R for India at IBW 2023

For the 2023 IBW, Kawasaki not only launched the new Kawasaki W175 Street but also introduced its popular super sport bike – The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. The MY 2024 Ninja ZX-6R comes with changes to its front fascia and new electronics. The bike also gets a cleaner engine that adheres to the latest emission norms. While the MY 2024 Ninja ZX-6R was on display the launch dates are not out yet. But expect the brand to launch the motorcycle in the next few months.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R – Key Highlights

For the MY 2024, Kawasaki brings in a new front face which is more in line with the latest Ninja ZX-10R. The Ninja ZX-6R comes with a multicluster LED headlamp and mild changes to the nose cowling. The super sport design continues to remain the same and the pillion seat and footpegs are still absent. The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R also comes with a colour TFT display, traction control and ABS. Also, the ZX-6R gets a bi-directional quick shifter, riding modes and more.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R – Engine Specifications

Powering the new Ninja ZX-6R is the same 636cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The 16-valve DOHC motor with liquid cooling delivers around 130 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque. The engine comes matched to a cassette type 6-spped gearbox. Minor modifications to the fueling and exhaust systems are likely to be made to stay compliant with the future emission standards.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R – Mechanical Bits

The ZX-6R will continue to sport the Showa 41 mm upside-down Big Piston Separate Function Fork on the front. On the rear the 6R gets a Bottom-Link Uni Trak suspension. Braking equipment is also likely to remain the same. Which is twin 310mm rotors on the front with Nissin callipers and a single 220mm unit on the rear. The 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R will also get Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System for safety.
