Honda reveals N7X SUV 7-seater concept

Honda has unveiled a new 7-seater concept car in the Indonesian market. The new Honda N7X was unveiled on 3rd May 2021, in Jakarta in a virtual ceremony. According to Honda, the N7X is the combination of an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) and SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). Hence, the N7X bring together various advantages of the MPV and go-anywhere ability and styling of the SUV.

What is the Honda N7X?

The concept car name N7X means New 7-seater eXitement. The car has been developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., keeping in mind both exciting driving experience and premium comfort. Honda’s Asia Pacific Research & Development department performed extensive studies and developed the concept using the feedback of consumers from Indonesia as well as various other countries. The Honda N7X concept features various advantages of an MPV such as 7-seats, spaciousness and comfort as well as toughness of an SUV. 

Design & Styling

The Honda N7X features a sleek body with sharp lines and a butch front fascia. The N7X reinforces its SUV status with a clamshell bonnet and the gloss black wheel arch cladding. The N7X concept also features large multispoke alloy wheels and chunky rubber tyres. The Honda N7X also features a horizontally slated grille typical Honda styling on the front and the latest generation headlamp design.

The car features inverted tickmark LED daytime running lights, a secondary DRL on the bumper, a silver skid plate, and mesh lower air intakes. The Honda N7X concept features a large glasshouse, roof rails and a sharkfin antenna. The N7X features wraparound taillamps with signature Honda lighting, a squared-off bumper and a rear skid plate. The SUV also features a rear wash and wipe as well as a spoiler on the rear.

Where is the Honda H7X on Display?

Honda will display the H7X Concept at Dreams Cafe by Honda located in Mall Senayan Park, Jakarta. The concept car will be on display for the public until 6th June 2021.
