Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 R in India. This is the brands most powerful motorcycle ever, and has been priced at INR 51.87 lakh ex-showroom. Only 5 such units of the Panigale V4 R will be sold in India, making it a very exclusive affair. Bookings before November end will have the bikes delivered in Q1 of 2019 and the bikes booked from December onwards will have the deliveries in Q2 2019.
A track-focused, racing inspired model, the Panigale V4 R is a beautiful motorcycle. For all the right reasons, and even emotionally is just gets to you. It is a road-legal form of a race bike which will surely please the motorcycle enthusiasts, of course those who have the money.
The motor produces 221 HP of peak power @ 15250 RPM and after you fit the Ducati Performance Exhaust jointly developed with Akrapovic, this peak power takes a massive bump to 234 HP @ 15500 RPM. Isn’t that exciting?
The Panigale V4 R makes use of a 998cc, V4 , Desmosedeci Stradale R motor which puts it within the WSBK championship rules. The bike features winglets, race-spec Ohlins suspension, aluminium swingarm with 4-position adjustment, front chassis reworked to be stiffer as per Ducati Corse and more. The bike also features an Aero pack for improve aerodynamic efficiency.
