BMW Z4 now in India for INR 64.90 lakh onwards

The much awaited and the most sought after sports car is here. BMW’s roadster, the new BMW Z4 has been launched in India in two variants the BMW Z4 s-Drive 20i M-Sport and the BMW Z4 M40i. The new BMW Z4 s-drive 20i is priced at INR 64.90 lakh ex-showroom, India and the BMW Z4 M40i, the top-end variant costs INR 78.90 lakh ex-showroom, India.

BMW Z4 will directly compete with the more expensive Porsche 718 Boxster priced at INR 90 lakh ex-showroom.

The all new BMW Z4 s-drive 20i M-Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre, inline four cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which produces 197 HP  @ 4500 RPM and 320 Nm of torque @ 1450-4200 RPM. And the BMW Z4 sDrive 20i M-Sport goes from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 240 kmph. And the top-spec all-new BMW Z4 M40i is powered by a 3.0-litre, straight six-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which produces 340 HP of power @ 5000-6500 RPM and 500 Nm of torque @ 1600-4500 RPM. The 0-100 kmph time comes in at 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph. Both engines are coupled to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission and have rear wheel drive.

The interiors on the BMW Z4 s-Drive 20i M-Sport are defined by its clear design and open ambience using some tetragonal elements on the AC vents and door handles. The upholstry on the all-new BMW Z4 comes in a combination of Vernasca and alcantara leather with a blue and black contrast stitching. A large infotainment system on the dash surrounded by aluminum finishes.

The top-trim BMW Z4 M40i comes in a Misano Blue Metallic and a Frozen Grey II metallic colour options apart from the standard colour options. Alloy wheels come in a double spoke design dual colour, two 18-inch and two 19-inch design options. The soft top has an option between black and anthracite silver effect. The BMW Z4 s-Drive 20i comes in White, Red, Black and Blue.
