All-new 3rd generation BMW X6 launched in India at INR 95 lakh

BMW has launched the all-new third-generation BMW X6 in India at the price of INR 95 lakhs ex-showroom, India. The all-new BMW X6 is offered in two variant trims – BMW X6 xDrive40i xLine and BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport offered at the same price tag. The brand positions the SUV crossover SUV in a newly established Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) segment and is available in nine exterior paints – Riverside Blue Metallic, Carbon Black, Manhattan Metallic, Artic Grey, Mineral White, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect, Black Sapphire and Alpine White along with optional colours that include Tanzanite Blue Metallic and BMW Individual Ametrine Metallic.

On the exteriors, the all-new BMW X6 is larger than its predecessor and is now 26 mm longer, 15mm wider and comes with a 42 mm extended wheelbase but the height of the SAC has been reduced by 6 mm. In terms of styling, the all-new BMW X6 features an imposing signature BMW kidney grille with grille illumination as an option, twin-barrel LED headlights as standard, large air inlets on the front apron along with sharp side sills, muscular bonnet with raised ridges, squarish wheel arches, 20-inch Y-spoked alloy wheels, athletic shoulder lines, a distinctive fastback roof that give it the coupé styling, a lip spoiler on the rear deck, L-shaped LED taillamps etc. 

On the interiors, the all-new BMW X6 comes with a redesigned cabin and reconfigured to be a driver-focused cockpit. The interiors come with Leather Vernasca upholstery in 6 colour tones included as standard, electronically adjustable sports seats, standard ambient lighting, Welcome Light Carpet, Temperature Controlled Cupholders (heated and cooled) and Wireless charging as standard. The BMW X6 also features 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with iDrive Controller and Navigation, fully digital 12.3-inch BMW Live Cockpit Professional instrumentation, and a lot more.

The BMW X6 is powered by a 3.0-litre inline BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol engine from the BMW EfficientDynamics family that produces 340 Hp of power and 450 Nm of torque matched to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission coupled to BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive that helps accelerate the SAC from 0-100 kmph in 5.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 250 kmph.

The BMW X6 now also offers customizable options such as BMW Laser Light, BMW Head-Up Display, Comfort Access, Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge, Crafted Clarity Glass Application, and Ambient Air Package, Rear Seat Entertainment Professional and Harman Kardon Surround Sound system and 21-inch light-alloy wheels. 

The all-new BMW X6 can now be booked through the brand’s ‘BMW Contactless Experience’ by logging on to the official website. Deliveries will be initiated adhering to all local government directives post the lockdown period.
