Lamborghini Huracán Performante launched for INR 3.97 crore

Lamborghini has launched the fastest Huracán ever in India. Dubbed as tge Huracán Performante, the launch price stands at INR 3.97 crore (ex-showroom).

Huracán Performante has already become the fastest production car ever to clock the most iconic racing circuit of Nürburgring in a record time of 6:52:01, which is 5 seconds faster than the previous record holder Porsche 918 Spyder.

Not just the performance figures but the technological improvements are mind blowing too. Huracán Perfomante is a staggering 40 kg lighter than the regular Huracán. It uses the most powerful engine from the whole Huracán series which includes a 5.2L V10 producing 640 BHP (30 BHP more) and 600 NM of torque (40 Nm more) than the regular AWD Huracán.

Elaborating on the enhanced performance of car, Huracán Perfomante can touch the 100 kmph mark form a standstill in just 2.9 seconds flat (0.3 seconds faster than standard car) and can also reach to a top speed over 325 kmph.

Exclusive tech used in construction is a testament for itself. Full bodywork has been carved out from carbon fiber and aluminium. Lamborghini has specially paid attention on performance enhancing parts such as flaps and spoilers. The car also has electrically actuated flaps to increase the aero stability.

One of the most interesting feature in use is the air channeling in the rear wing that helps splitting air into right and left depending on the speed, hence leading to zero aero vectoring allowing supreme high speed stability. It is so good that Lamborghini claims a 75% increase in downforce from standard car.

Lamborghini has also used electric front flaps that help reducing front air pressure resulting to reduced drag and increased top speed.

Huracán Perfomante also uses a bronze engine cover like some other special edition Lamborghini’s to make it unique for customers.
