Honda’s all-new quarter-litre sportsbike, the CBR250RR was reported to be launched today in the international markets, but nothing has emerged so far about the real deal. Meanwhile, based on the official teaser videos, here’s yet another rendering image which tries to give us a fair idea of what to expect.
The new CBR250RR is being introduced not just as a touring focused 250cc motorcycle, but a bike which will be sporty enough to get your pulse racing. When launched, it will rival the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300 & Yamaha YZF-R25.
Powering the CBR250RR will be a 250cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke petrol motor producing 37 HP of more power matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike will sport a shotgun styled twin exhaust system.
Although an update is due for the Indian market, the CBR250RR is not expected in India anytime soon. But let’s hope Honda does think of introducing us to this baby Fireblade instead of just another set of decals on the current CBR250R.
